​Michelle Easley is the founder of Positive Push Press LLC. Her life's mission is to empower people through words. Michelle is committed to making a positive difference, empowering others to embrace diversity, equity and inclusion. Michelle is a creator of online courses, webinars and a professional learning facilitator and much more.

Why this commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion? Michelle's father sat in at lunch counters in downtown Atlanta while he was a student, at then, Clark College (now Clark Atlanta University). He passed on to Michelle his fierce dedication to equality.
She created an online course, Virtual Libraries Made Easy, to assist school librarians working to craft and sustain vibrant, virtual school library programs. She is the author of How to Increase Diversity in School Library Collections and Programs. Michelle is a national presenter. She blogged for the American Association of School Librarians’ Knowledge Quest Blog. She is the author of several articles published in peer reviewed journals. She has been a featured guest on the Inclusion School Podcast, discussing equity and diversity and facilitated numerous sessions on diversity, equity and inclusion. She was a member of the American Association of School Librarians Presidential Task Force on Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (Mary Keeling, Immediate Past President).

She has served as a teacher and school librarian at all levels, elementary, middle, and high school. Michelle coordinated school library programs for schools on all military bases - Air Force, Army, Marines, Coast Guard and Navy, in the United States, Cuba and Puerto Rico for the Domestic Dependent Elementary and Secondary Schools operated by the Department of Defense Education Activity. She serves in a leadership capacity for a major school system in Atlanta, Georgia. She is a past president of the Georgia Library Media Association.

Michelle received both a Bachelor of Science degree and a Master of Business Administration degree from Florida A&M University, a Master of Arts and Teaching degree from Emory University, and the Specialist in Education degree from Georgia State University.

Michelle is the mother of two beautiful children. She spends her free time volunteering with homeless women and youth.
